Omanbapa Auto & PVOC Ltd and Autoterminal Japan Ltd (ATJ) will commence pre-shipment inspections of used motor vehicles exported to Ghana under the Ghana Standards Authority's Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) programme from 1 October 2026.

Omanbapa Auto & PVOC Ltd (OMANBAPA), in partnership with Autoterminal Japan Ltd (ATJ), has announced the commencement of Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) inspections for used motor vehicles exported to Ghana. The programme follows the announcement by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) on the implementation of the PVoC programme for used motor vehicles imported into Ghana.
Under the programme, used vehicles intended for export to Ghana will be required to undergo pre-shipment inspection and comply with the applicable requirements before shipment.
Omanbapa Auto & PVOC Ltd and Autoterminal Japan Ltd will undertake the inspections and issue Certificates of Conformity (CoC) in accordance with Ghana Standard GS 4510 and the applicable conformity assessment procedures.
Inspections Commence 1 October 2026
Pre-shipment inspections under the programme will commence on 1 October 2026.
Exporters, vehicle dealers, auction houses and other stakeholders involved in the export of used vehicles to Ghana are encouraged to ensure that vehicles presented for export meet the applicable requirements.
Early compliance will help exporters avoid potential delays in shipment and customs clearance.
