Omanbapa Ghana Limited and Omanbapa Deftech Ltd have officially entered into a landmark strategic Service Agreement with CETC International Co., Ltd. (CETCI), a global technology and systems enterprise headquartered in Beijing, China

Omanbapa Ghana Limited and Omanbapa Deftech Ltd have officially entered into a landmark strategic Service Agreement with CETC International Co., Ltd. (CETCI), a global technology and systems enterprise headquartered in Beijing, China, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of technology cooperation, industrial localisation, and strategic systems implementation within the Republic of Ghana.

The Agreement, signed on 16 September 2025, establishes Omanbapa as CETCI’s recognised local strategic service, implementation, coordination, and business support partner in Ghana for approved opportunities, projects, and engagements across multiple sectors.

The partnership creates a formal framework through which CETCI and Omanbapa will collaborate on the promotion, facilitation, localisation, deployment, and operational support of approved systems, technologies, products, and strategic solutions within Ghana.

Under the Agreement, Omanbapa will provide local stakeholder engagement, regulatory coordination, implementation support, deployment assistance, operational coordination, business development support, and continuity services for CETCI-approved initiatives in Ghana.

CETCI, in turn, will extend technical, institutional, operational, and strategic support to Omanbapa through technical advisory services, proposal support, OEM mobilisation, implementation oversight, solution documentation, and project coordination support, subject to applicable approvals and compliance requirements.

The Agreement further introduces important strategic provisions covering protected opportunities, channel protection, non-circumvention mechanisms, intellectual property protection, governance structures, confidentiality safeguards, and compliance obligations aimed at ensuring long-term strategic alignment between the Parties.

The collaboration reflects growing international confidence in Ghana’s strategic importance as a destination for industrial cooperation, technology deployment, infrastructure development, and advanced systems integration across critical sectors.

Speaking on the significance of the partnership, Omanbapa leadership described the Agreement as an important step toward positioning Ghana as a regional hub for strategic technology cooperation, industrial capability development, and local implementation excellence.

New Service Agreement Strengthens Local Implementation, Technology Coordination, and Strategic Systems Development

The Agreement also reinforces Omanbapa’s broader vision of facilitating high-level international partnerships capable of supporting Ghana’s industrial transformation agenda through sustainable collaboration, knowledge transfer, operational localisation, and long-term institutional partnerships.

Industry observers view the partnership as strategically significant due to CETCI’s global reputation and extensive expertise in advanced communications systems, electronics, industrial technologies, infrastructure solutions, and integrated strategic systems deployment.

The Service Agreement establishes a structured framework for future project-specific engagements while enabling both Parties to pursue mutually beneficial opportunities aligned with Ghana’s national development priorities and international cooperation objectives.

Importantly, the Agreement emphasises that all implementation activities shall remain subject to applicable Ghanaian laws, international compliance standards, anti-corruption regulations, export control frameworks, and institutional governance requirements.

The partnership is expected to contribute toward strengthening local technical coordination capabilities, enhancing project implementation efficiency, improving institutional collaboration, and supporting the gradual development of sustainable local operational ecosystems in Ghana.

As Ghana continues to expand strategic international partnerships in support of industrialisation, technology modernisation, and economic transformation, collaborations such as this are increasingly seen as critical enablers of long-term national development and global competitiveness.

The Agreement remains valid for an initial term of three years and provides the foundation for future structured cooperation, project implementation frameworks, and expanded strategic engagements between CETCI and Omanbapa within Ghana and potentially across the wider West African region.
